I realize that this is short notice, but I just had to share this because it is such an amazing opportunity! As you may or may not know, Pure Yoga’s Teacher Training Program is being offered at Equinox Fitness in 5 cities around the country this fall. This is an amazing program, written by Alanna Kaivalya. Alanna, along with Kay Kay Clivio (a member of Zobha’s circle of Grace), is responsible for getting this program to where it is today, and it is so exciting that it is going to be available outside of NYC!

Even more exciting? Zobha is offering ONE scholarship to a qualified candidate in any of the 5 cities (Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Dallas). The deadline is this Sunday, August 15th.

Zobha Grace of Giving Scholarship
The Zobha Grace of Giving Scholarship is a grant that will be awarded to one qualified candidate for study in Pure Teacher Training program at any participating Equinox beginning Fall 2010. The scholarship will be awarded based on a demonstrated financial need and/or desire to teach yoga in an underserved community.

Zobha Founder and CEO, Jamie Hanna was profoundly influenced by her own teacher training, and is inspired daily by the many talented individuals who choose to make teaching yoga a career.  The Grace of Giving Scholarship is a part of Zobha’s broader effort to give back to the yoga community and make yoga accessible to all.

Michaela lives and teaches yoga in Los Angeles, CA. Growing up as a gymnast, she was first introduced to the practice of Yoga during high school and instantly fell in love.
