Root to Rise: Foundations of Flying
Friday, November 4th | 7:15pm – 9:15pm
Learn to use the core to it’s fullest potential in each asana and transition. Our third chakra ‘Manipura’ or the belly is our center of confidence, self-esteem and ego. All of which are important aspects of our inversion and armbalancing practices. thus by building our core strength and foundations we break away from self-doubt and rise like Phoenix. Learn how to use your roots to rise…
One Giant Leap: Perfecting Jumping Transitions
Saturday, November 5th | 11:30am – 2:30pm
One small step for man, one giant leap for your practice. We will investigate the jumps in this workshop. Jump throughs and jump backs, jumps to handstand, jumps into arm balances, jumps into standing poses… Take a leap, and the landing will appear… if you want it to.
This workshop is geared toward giving you the tools you need to resist landing. This is a fantastic way to practice honing your leaping skills, building confidence, so that when a leap appears out in life, you are ready to rock.
Monkey Business: A Class Dedicated to Hanuman in Everything!
Sunday, November 6th | 11:30am – 2:30pm
Hanuman is the most chill and devoted of any of the hindu deities. He pledged his life to help a brother out. …And did so with mad skills. He is the monkey god, and the son of the wind. Through his devoted heart he has the spirit of a playful child, energetic and fun loving, if not a touch mischievous. This practice is hanuman training. We will take a trip down the rabbit hole to the monkeys den, and practice hanuman style. Of course this will include his namesake pose, and great news!.. we will be on our hands quite a bit, and riding the wind. Jai hanuman!
