Wakefield, RI: The Art of Assisting w/ Coral Brown 12/11

Rhode Island: Are you looking to expand your knowledge, teaching, and understanding of asana? Well, we have the workshop for you! Join the beautiful Coral Brown for her Art of Assisting Workshop on Saturday, December 11th at All That Matters. See the event details below from the studio website:

The Art of Assisting

Saturday, December 11th 2pm – 5pm

Assisting is very powerful as it speaks directly to the body’s wisdom, bypassing thinking mind and ego. One-on-one assisting provides a wonderful opportunity to personally support and facilitate both a student’s process and our own. In this workshop we will focus on effectively providing safe hands-on enhancements while honoring boundaries and deepening our understanding of our practice. We will explore different methods and the process of assisting, and learn assists for the asanas in Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) and primary standing poses.
