Jam of the Week | The Rolling Stones Celebrate Fifty Years with New Track "Doom And Gloom" + 2012 Tour Dates

Back by popular demand—the YOGANONYMOUS Jam of the Week—a chance to discover new (or old) music that you can incorporate into your practice, or just rock out with anytime of the day.

One of our all time favorite bands—the Rolling Stones—released a brand new single a few days ago, the first in many years, and we are totally diggin it.

Doom And Gloom marks the first time that Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood have been in the studio together for seven years. The single was recorded in Paris and produced by longtime Rolling Stones producer Don Was, who has worked with the band on five previous albums (Voodoo Lounge/ Stripped/ Bridges To Babylon/ Licks Live/ A Bigger Bang), with the radio mix produced by Jeff Bhasker.

GRRR!—a 50 track three CD compilation—will be released on November 12, 2012 and is an absolute must for Stones fans. The album features a second all new recording of One More Shot, as well as classic fan fav tracks Gimme Shelter, (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction, Jumpin’ Jack Flash, Street Fighting Man, Start Me Up, Beast of Burden, Tumbling Dice, Love Is Strong and much, much more.

GRRR! is also available to pre-order on iTunes and as a bonus, fans who pre-order the album will receive an instant download of Doom And Gloom.

And as if all of this isn't enough to leave fans totally stoked and counting down the days already, the rock icons will play to thousands of fans rocking out at London’s O2 Arena on November 25 and 29, and then across the ocean to perform at the Prudential Center, Newark, near New York, on December 13 and 15. These concerts are the first of their kind in over five years. You can find ticket info here.
