About the Teachers
Katie Brauer, E-RYT Director of Teacher Trainings & Yoga Programming Yoga Six
Katie Brauer is an International Yoga Teacher and featured teacher on Gaiam TV. Known for her progressive approach and inspirational teaching style she infuses her extensive studies in Craniosacral Therapy, Kung Fu and Somatic Movement into a progressive approach to yoga teacher training that invites students to feel inspired, aligned and fully alive, on and off the mat. Katie is the Director of Yoga Programming and Teacher Trainings for Yoga Six and shares her love of yoga at Festivals nationwide and leads Yoga Retreats and Teacher Trainings around the world.
Danny Arguetty, M.A., E-RYT, Co-Director
Danny Arguetty, M.A., E-RYT, is the author of Nourishing the Teacher: inquiries, contemplations & insights on the path of yoga. He has studied and practiced extensively in the Kripalu and Anusara approach to yoga and blends a mix of skillful alignment cues, playful postures, and creative vinyasa flows to facilitate a heart-opening journey of conscious inquiry. Danny links the potency of asana practice and nature to the possibility of living in the world with mindfulness, skillfulness, and heartfelt intent. He is adjunct faculty at Williams College, teaches at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health and is a Nutrition, Health, and Life Counselor. Danny continues to dedicate his time to further study with his primary teacher Dr. Douglas Brooks, one of the leading scholars on Tantra in the West.
